Our History
Epicurean was born out of an organization making eco-friendly municipal skate parks. The paper composite we employed in our ramps is extremely durable but also food safe and dishwasher safe. We started using the surplus material to make cutting boards as gifts for family and friends. Demand soared and that we began producing and selling a spread of kitchen tools from this paper composite.
The Heart of Epicurean
As with the skate park company, Epicurean’s quality, design, functionality and responsible business practices helped us build our brand and become a frontrunner within the category.
Where the skate parks we once created became the guts of the community, Epicurean’s sole focus is now at the center of the kitchen. Our cutting boards and kitchen tools are at the middle of way of life for both casual cooks and seasoned gourmets.
Since 2004, Epicurean innovation, quality, functionality, durability and responsibility are all at the guts of the Epicurean brand—for 2019 and beyond.
