A fully forged, nitrogen-treated blade, the Made In Chef's Knife is produced entirely in France. It has a complete tang, stainless steel rivets, and is crafted of excellent X50CrMoV15 metal. The total length of the knife is 13 inches, including the 8.5-inch blade.

Chef's knives are used to cut meat, dice vegetables, separate some portions, shave herbs, and chop nuts. However, there are many various types of knives for distinct uses, such as carving, slicing, and bread knives for particular items.

Using an honing steel is the most typical method of honing a knife. These cheap tools, which range in price from $10 to $30, are essentially steel rods with handles. The rod's surface is rough, so honing the edge back into place requires scraping a blade across it on both sides at the right angle.
